Subject: More choose Consultants then Lawyers
  To All

Persons who claimed they had assistance with their applications claimed
52% of Immigration applicants choose Consultants over 21% for Lawyers according to CIC recent study.

15% used friends and family.
12% used others

I could not find how many use this forum, LOL

What gets me is that 2% claim they paid more then $20,000.00 for assistance.

Another 2% claim they paid between $15,000.00 and $20,000.00

Plus another 3% claimed they paid between $10,000.00 and $15,000.00

I need to get my eyes checked I can´t find those clients.

20K for what????

Well lets look on the bright side Consultants are trusted by the consumer.

Government Must abolish Immigration consultant and immigration lawyer , for someone who can read preperly english or french will certainly find that they are useless.

in counterpart the immigration precess must be easier and detailed information on how the process is going need to be available to the clients.

and by the way No Histeria while answering this post ..OK?

LOL, LOL, LOL, LOL, Hysteria LOL LOL made my morning hahahahahahahahah

Filling in forms can cause you to be found inadmissible and you probably would have no difficulty. Some can do a brake job on a car, and others can create a professional power point presentation, and still others have Phd´s yet fill in a form ---- NO!

FSW, CEC etc I agree.

Spousal Sponsorships applications should be a walk in the park because the two of you love one another! Then why do I have so many Spousal Appeal clients?

Sometimes it is not worth hiring anyone because the game is over or it is sooooo simple a monkey should be able to do it.

The same study on the CIC site claims 2% paid more then $20,000.00 --------------for what. Now is that a true representation of what was charged, or was that you answering the questions?

The other factor since an application submitted with a non-authorized person would be returned for failing to disclose the representative did CIC differentiate between authorized consultants and Uncle Luigi working out of his basement?

Did CIC only ask questions of those with a IMM 5476 Use of Representative form on file?

Too many holes in this study but your point is well taken and I agree with it for some overseas applications. I also know hiring a QUALITY authorized Representative can be well worth their fees.

That is depending on the persons personal circumstances.

Translation of Mr. Roy´s post... ...

I am the best...I know everything.... Lawyers know nothing ... Hire me ...Hire me....Pay me pay me pay me !!!!

Roy nobody with some brain is going to pay you !!!

Somehow you come to this site each day post your webpage.... Ever seen a lawyer coming here posting his/her webpage or talking shir or blaming consultants? That means you business sucks....soon you will go bankrupt...you need to advertise your business each day here because you need money money .....and it seems your business is really terrible...

To all potential immigrants NEVER PAY A PENNY to anybody... NEVER... Just go to CIC and get all your information if you know some English DO IT YOURSELF... this is what MOST people do... Always remember most people do their peperwork on their own ...DO not let those greedy people get a penny from you !!!!!

If your case is complicated then hire a good lawyer..NEVER pay Roy a penny ....or any other consultant!!!!! Most consultants are the people who cannot do anything else and take some courses for a short time and hope to make money....

Smart people use their brain!!!! Use your own brain and NEVER PAY!!!! NEver hire anybody especially an arrogant guy like ROy!!!!

Merry christmas Mr. Roy.... enjoy christmas with your loved ones if you have one .!!!

JJ LOL you are funny.

So JJ please tell me who is a GOOD LAWYER? PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, come on PLEASE!

A good Lawyer is a Lawyer that never had to take a class in Immigration Law before starting to practice Immigration Law?

You do know JJ it will be real difficult for you to find one Law School in Canada that states their Law Students have to take a required subject in Immigration Law to graduate.

Come on JJ Google long and hard!!!!

How about this Lawyer????????

Last week many immigration lawyers were surprised when Antonio and Maria De Sousa, 37 and 36, returned to Canada from Portugal with their three children, reportedly under the authority of a temporary resident permit (“TRP”), after having been deported from Canada last year following their four-year unlawful stay in this country.

Their is also a video.

Now when it is finally updated which has not been done in a long time (my web site) will have plenty more examples of positive outcomes.

So JJ show me one (GOOD LAWYER) that has more examples then I do. Many Immigration Lawyers were surprised as to how I did it. What shocked me was Guidy actually expected me to tell him how I got applicants who applied for permanent residence a temporary work permit after being deported. Plus JJ they are now PR´s now!

When one can not compete they hide in the shadows. So JJ are U a Lawyer who can not compete???? Go back to the shadows.

Merry Christmas JJ

I used a consultant
paid 3500

OUT of status for 8 years
non accompanying dependent with NO way of getting medical etc etc etc (this one is a huge land mine to get around according to many people who have had this problem)
final result:
NO interview
no questions on paperwork
no requests for additional information
NOTHING
4 month timeline

best money I ever spent.

Others I know in similar positions than myself and some in better ones as being in status etc ......
interviews
denials
appeals
ALL because they thought they were smarter than consultants and ALL made basic errors that a consultant would have caught.

I did not use Roy but IF i had to do it again I would not hesitate to use him.

I have seen him time and time again give the same advice and ask the same questions that my consultant did.

Roy everything good in life costs monies. Canada is like an alabaster box of ivory and honey and they certainly shouldn´t regret paying about 10-15k to reach the destiny. I charge them between 5-10k mostly... sometimes, when the cases drag on for years, it accrues. In the end it is worth every penny the client is spending. Canada may not mean much for some but for others, it is " Canada or bust".
