| Subject: Brit wanting to move to Canada |

I am a British citizen living in London and am planning a move to Canada next summer with my Canadian girlfriend. These are the facts:
- i am classed as a skilled worker
- I am under 30
- I have lived with my g/f over a year (so presumably common law)
- I don´t yet have a job offer
- the move would be long term.
What would be the visa options? Should I be sponsored by my g/f? What about the International Youth Program(IYP)? Can i apply for a open work permit? How long do all these options take to process?
I have looked on the immigration website but am still unsure as to the best way to do this and the whole processing time.
