I became a PR in July 1975, but unfortunately, never did obtain Canadian Citizenship. I was married in 1992 in Canada and had to move the US in 1994, because my American wife did not want to live in Canada. My son who was born in Ontario, now 17, wants to move to Canada to live and study. As a minor, can I return to Canada with him as his father/guardian. He is adamant on returning home.... I certainly don´t want him to go to Canada alone at seveteen. Also, how may I regain my PR?

Are you suggesting that my son being Canadian can sponsor me as his Dad? He is only 17 years old....can he sponsor me at that age?

Greben, your son is not eligible to sponsor you yet - not until he reaches 18, plus he has to meet the Low Income Cut-off - which may not likely as he is still trying to pursue his studies.
