Hi,
I am tight situation need info about.
First, I am staying in this on Work Permit for last 4 years, I have applied for PR at Buffalo. The process started on 20th Jan 2009.
My PR was delayed due to futher medical test and CSQ for my wife and kid.
On 28th October they ask repeat medical test which submit on 18th November. After that I contacted them , they replied that my application is in process.
Now, on work permit is expiring next month. My company has already filed for LMO, but they have indicated that I won´t recived it before expire of work permit.
So, I am fix now. I don´t what´s going to happen.
Can some please suggest me?

You are allowed to work during the process of your work permit renewal. Hope it helps.

Please, confirm very well, that appears incorrect.
You must stop working once your work permit expires unless the rule has changed very recently

You can continue to work ONLY if you have filed for an extension to your Work Permit BEFORE the current one expires. This is regardless of the the company filing for the LMO.
You might be able to file for the extension of the work permit before LMO approval, but you must show evidence that you have filed for that LMO in your application.
In event of the LMO and subsequently the Work Permit not being approved you must stop working.

Thank you for answering my query.
I know my company has applied for LMO and meanwhile application for PR is also under process at Buffalo.
I will apply for new of work permit before expire of current workpermit without LMO ( but indicated CIC that it will fax once I get it). In that case I will get some more time.
Do you guys think this will work?
