Hi. I´m 16, and this summer I知 pretty sure I知 doing a 6-week summer exchange program. I know I want to go to North America, but I知 not sure what country to go to. I have to have 3 choices, and these are the countries I have to choose from...
Canada
Mexico
Costa Rica
I know my 1st choice is going to be Canada, and I´m not sure about the 2nd or 3rd choice
I was thinking maybe Mexico as a 2nd choice, then Costa Rica or Cuba as 3rd
Can someone who has traveled to these countries give me some advice?
I´m a 16-year-old girl, and I speak a little French (very little)
I want somewhere that I would have fun, and would give me a good experience

Canada is mostly english with the exception of the french province, Quebec. Canada is one of the greatest places in the world to be sure. If you are looking for cool sights to see and things to do, Our west coast has it all. your other choises are amazing places as well and as a Canadian travleing I would prefer Costa Rica over mexico.
You have an interesting choise to make. We would be happy to have you here in Canada, and I am sure you would have a great time in either Costa Rica or Mexico. Just be sure to let them know beyond everything else you are not from the USA, Americans tent to go missing etc.
Good luck with your trip and enjoy, if you go to Costa Rica or Mexico, come see us another time. We love visitors.

It really depends on where you are from. For example, if I am from Australia, I would have chosen either Mexico or Cuba because I will be learning a different culture, society etc. that´s the whole point of these enrichment programs. I was in Cuba on an educational tour years ago and loved it.
