hi to all,I´m new on this forum and hoping to get some advice
I sponsored my husband in May 2008 and we were married in 2007
I´m living with my son in Canada.
When we were filling our family class sponsorship applications, we forget to mention his first marriage in the forms because he was divorced in 1996 and his first marriage stay for six month only
When my husband appeared for interview in January 2010 in Canada high commission, immigration officer refused our case and band for two years for just on one reason
: Why we have not mention his previous marriage while filling the case
My question is Roll Eyes
• Can we go for appeal against this refusal?
• If I´m satisfied as a second wife and he divorced his first wife in 1996 than why immigration officer blame on him as liar and ban him for two years
are waiting for our case decision letter .
My husband married with Norwegian girl in 1995,he did not apply for any immigration we have divorce paper of previous marriage from Norway court and homeland court of my husband , can we send divorce paper to embassy before receiving final decision ,will it work,.......they will consider it or not

Ok, yes he did not tell the truth and that is called "Misrepresentation" and he has been banned for 2 years.
There is nothing to appeal here, what are you going to appeal? He didn´t disclose his previous marriage in the application. Whether he was married for a day or 10 years IT DOESN´T MATTER he should have PERIOD.
You are going to have to wait 2 years and apply again. If you are a Canadian citizen you can move to his country of residence and sponsor him from abroad.
Next time read the forms and the INSTRUCTIONS or get a qualified immigration consultant to help you out.

sounds like someone needed major help in filing the case forms! what country is this husband of your is from? He is a lucky man if he was with a Nordic Goddess that long ago... even for a few weeks! Lucky jack, that´s all I can say...

Solutions people maa2010 knows it is their fault. HJence (Roll Eyes)
Forget the appeal process even though DocD has never represented anyone at a spousal appeal.
Re-Submit and ask for forgiveness and come up with some logically sounding excuses for the misrepresentation and ask for a ARC authorization to return.

than x for ur reply,I´m waiting for letter (refusal).immigration officer stamp on my husband passport,is it a refusal stamp,as we have divorce paper of his early marriage,can we send to embassy before we receive refusal letter ,please help me ,we are very disturb in this frustrating situation,
