Oh Vancouver people come on leave your refrigerator doors open. Turn down your thermostats.

Well at least that is better than bringing snow in by helicopter.

Last year this time in the GTA there was no place to put the snow and this morning all we have outside is a tiny rock hard snow bank at the end of the driveway. The lawns are green and we are in + Celsius temperatures everyday. Rarely overnight do we go below freezing.

We have had an arctic wind chill for days on end but snow, NO!

If things do not change all the global warming people will say see what is happening.

Everybody in Vancouver should start looking like the Prime Minister and wear sweaters and turn off their furnaces so the rain will turn to snow.

Helicopters to bring snow in come on!

LOL... VANOC can control everything but the weather. We are being told the early snow that is stockpiled is more than enough to run the events... just the place won´t look as pretty as the magazines might suggest.

Upside, people will enjoy the outdoors a little more at the live sites etc.

my daffodils are up 3 inches. They intend to have 9,000 pots of tulips planted next week at the front of City Hall that will apparently be blooming on cue. Winter games... HA! our winter is usually over February 1.

forgot... we will be offering free rounds of golf to all medal winners!

that the IOC can´t control EVERYTHING is quite exciting. Several of us are cheering for the cherry blossoms to be out for the gold medal hockey game just to tick everyone off.

we have always been told that stuff gets rescheduled in those cases.

I can´t imagine what that must be like for a ticket holder given the hassle involved in getting back and forth from the events.

If China can make rain, Canada can make snow.

ummmm we don´t really want any snow. We don´t know how to drive in it and nobody around here has winter coats!

We will be quite happy with the artificial stuff on the snowboard slopes.
