| Subject: Residential address; applying from outside Canada |

I live with my fiancee in Canada and she is here on a visitor´s visa. It seems we are better off applying from outside the country, if this is permitted in spite of the fact that she lives with me in Canada.
If this is not illegal, what addresses do we put on the forms? Does she need to list her residential address as one in the USA (on IMM 008, app for P.R.)? She has been receiving mail at an address in the US and conducting banking in the US via that address, however she only spends a few weeks there, scattered throughout the year.
We have signed a statutory declaration of common law union, which indicates we have been living together in Canada; as well we are including evidence that we have shared the same address in Canada for almost three years.
So I am concerned the documents we submit may appear self-contradictory, but we want to apply from outside the country, for the reason that we wish to retain the right to appeal. Aside from that, there is no particular time constraint, no rush for her to work, as she is pregnant and not planning on working anyway. (As far as I can tell, she is eligible for health care coverage regardless of the type of application, inside or outside the country.)

How can she be a resident of Canada if she has entered canada as tourist !!!, only resident´s have health care in Canada using their social security number which she doesnot have, You might use the health care system as a tourist but it shall cost alot, not sure.

Today from the Visa department I have received an Visa application form. Which my employer is busy organising for me.
I have applied and accepted to work with Popcruise in Canada as a Cruise Director.
Today from your office an application form ofr a Visa was sent to me.
Now I would like to make an enquiry, has the application form reached your offices?
