| Subject: visa expired and going to india..plzz help,urgent |

Hi
my canadian visa expired in oct 2009 but i hold a valid open work permit till oct 2010. After 3 days i am going to india for a vacation.my questions are:
1)Can i get my visa extended from canadian embassy in india?
2)would i have any problems while travelling from canada to india since my canadian visa is expired
3)please give me the link where in i can read more information about it.

Hi Nimish,
Read this, it might help. But if you consider my opinion, its better not to come back without having valid Visa.

no. you can do it here though. call to CIC call center agent in Canada.
2)would i have any problems while travelling from canada to india since my canadian visa is expired
you wont be facing problems while going to India but you sure will be questioned when you will come back if you dont have valid visa.

as mentioned above. read it and take a risk.
