Just asking how possible is it to be issued of visa if the family member was not declared before the sponsor got his PR?

My friend got married 2 weeks before he got his PR and did not declare his wife. After 6 months, his wife got the visa?

I know hes my friend and i always wished IRPA 117 is just a joke, but their case favored would TOTALLY be unfair to those undergoing eternal appeals, and H n C or whatever...right?

If Visas were issued they will be landed. Obviously before he was Landed he amended his marital status and they accepted the explanation.

No change in status was made.i know everything because i saw the date on marriage certificate, and i know the exact date the sponsor came to canada as i helped and i have the copy of ticket used. Lets say, the sponsor got married mid 2008. After 2wks sponsor landed as single. Sure of that. Then mid 2009 sponsorship was submitted to cpc miss. After 6 months, visa is issued to sponsors spouse. I had precious posting about this i rmember the response was.... " no,spouse cant be sponsored in the later part if not declared". I also know the details of dates of application. I just cant believe how it went through passing by irpa 117.

Per, what is the purpose of your concern? Were you in the room when your friend landed to hear the conversation? Did you see the documents? And if he did indeed manage to land with a change in status, what is the purpose of your concern. Do you want to now have his PR revoked because of misrepresentation?

How are we supposed to explain something to you that may or may not have missing information and to what benefit?????

If this bothers you so much, call CIC.

My purpose?
How come some papers take very loooong because of investigation due to this law or that law, and how come so many are affected of this irpa 117, and even being yelled at here for misrepresentation for being stupid stupid stupid...and others are paying lawyers for being ignorant or misinformation about the forms, that any change in status should CIC be informed, and his papers got through.

My friend was aware of this irpa, and somehow scared to death that it could hit him of truth.

i will never hold this againts anything...of course hes my friend. I just feel so bad for those whose papers are scrutinized up and down, east and west, and then get this refusal under irpa 117.

i saw all the documents just so you know and actually keeping in track of this for almost a year.

if applicants get caught for a mistake of irpa 117...they are doomed.
if IO made a mistake issuing the visa...hooray!!!

And your point is?

If you don´t like it please feel free to call CBSA and report a posible violation agains the 117 IRPA regulation and there is a possibility that a foreign national obtained a PR status while misrepresenting himself.

BUT... if you are not prepared to do so for whatever reason. What is your point in venting to the world?.

IO makes a mistake and hooray????
OK and so?

Take the IO to court if you want and prove him/her wrong in a court of law.

The point is clear. A few just gets lucky sometimes.I dont blame IO.we all make mistakes.is it bad to let others know that this case happened? After reading here the family member exclusion due to irpa117,i believe all things are possible and there is always a way. Im not telling to people here to lie or be stupid and hope for the best.i am just sharing a precious point Doc. I just cant believe that it has happened anyway.
