Subject: Government Assistance
My question is. What happens if the sponsor goes on government assistance? I sponsored my husband from India and he turned out to be a completely different person. He stayed with me for 4 months and then ran away. He´d occasionally call me and say he was coming back. And still is. But his relatives tell me that he´s just saying that because he´s afraid I´ll complain on him. His relatives feel very bad for me. I´m finding out from relatives that he was untrue. He´d say something to me and something totally different to everyone else. I´ve been soo depressed I cant even get out of bed. I´ve lost alot of weight due to all the stress. It´s been 6 months since then. I´m going through desperate financial problems. I might have to turn to assisstance to get back on my feet. I know if he goes on governmnet assistance, I have to pay. But what happens if I go?

Don´t feel shy about seeking public assistance if it is direly needed; I know many who use public help every now and then and sometimes they continue with help even after they could get work and such. Afterall, you contributed to the cookie jar when you worked; I freely donate whatever I gave the Govt (which is a lot during my many years of service) to your welfare! By the way, I am still working for the Govt (it is a lifelong employment) and still dolin gout cash every other week!!!
