I know this is a strange situation. Advice on this would be highly appreciated. I am applying for Canadian PR. My father passed away a few months ago and now there is a woman claiming that my father had secretly married her a few years ago and that he had a daughter with her. She has come forward looking for a share of my father´s assets. Now I do not know whether the marriage was genuine or not. In my home country it is very hard to get marriage data from a third party source like the local Government. My question is, do I include the daughter of this woman as my step sister in my application. Obviously my inclination is not to include her because it may create legal complications in any potential legal battle. I do not have any contact with this woman and needless to say that we arent on pleasant terms so getting any information on her daughter is obviously diifcult. Please can someone help me with this. Should I mention her in my application? If so, how do I do it?

Thanks
