| Subject: Is employment status important to sponsor spouse! |

Dear forum members,
I am have landed on last OCT 2008 and return back to my country immediately after receiving PR card. After returning back home I got married. Recently I am back to Canada, this time I am planning to stay here permanently. I am still unemployed.Can I sponsor my wife now? Is employment status is important to sponsor my spouse?

It is not important.
THey are only worried about employment and income, when you want to sponsor some eligible member other than spouse ex:parents
