Subject: My BF was taken by CBSP & hasn't contacted me
  Hello,
Over a day and a half ago, CBSP came to my door and took my boyfriend away. He had been a visitor in Canada and stayed longer than he was allowed. He is an American citizen, and has not done anything illegal other than overstay the welcome time.

I am deeply concerned because he has not contacted me, and it´s been over 36 hours.

I feel like it´s unreasonable that, if he were detained for some reason, that he wouldn´t be able to access a phone.

I have a few questions:
- Where do they take you when you are deported from Canada? To your last port of entry, or the nearest to the site you were picked up?

- Does anyone have a reason why someone detained wouldn´t be allowed to make a phone call to let his partner know he´s okay?

- Is there anywhere I can contact for more information? I have called the Canadian and American border services and both of them were completely useless.

I am nearing a state of panic, and there seems to be no professionals to help. Please share any information you have, thank you so much.

I am sure he is either in the can or back home safe!

"Nothing illegal other than overstay the welcome time?"
That is illegal!!!!!! What else do you want?

There is got to be something else. Either way he is probably held in a detention centre or a municipal jail cell awaiting for his deportation.
If he gets deported, they are going to send him home.
