Hi:
I submitted my initial application on may 29, 2009 but have not received any confirmation of receipt I am very worried , Could anyone tell me how to contatc them and how long does it take to get the confirmation of the receipt of my inatke Initail Application.
Now its more than 8 months.

can you clarify more by initial application, did u mean case filling at novascotia, if yes, u should have received reply within three or four weeks of receipt, when u send requirements and application again at visa processing office at ur country of residence, they dont usually send acknowledgement on receipt, but they will change ur status
