I LOOKED AT THE PHOTO OF THE WOMEN´S CURLING SILVER MEDAL WINNERS AND I LOOKED AT THE USA MEN´S hOCKEY TEAM LAST NIGHT!
Neither need to feel sad.
Their play was AWESOME.
I believe in positive thinking and me and the guys all had serious doubts yesterday, especially in the closing minutes of the second period and most through the third period.
Okay I´ll say it, USA is (now) after yesterday a HOCKEY NATION!!!!

You outplayed us and rated the victory, Roy. Not as an excuse, but I´d add that playing in your country, on your turf, in your rink, and with thousands of screaming local fans, is always a factor.
But it´s your sport and your national pride, and along with how beautifully the entire event was organized, you deserved the gold.

what impressed me was how the American and Canadian fans could sit side by side and cheer and cry and appreciate the outcome together - win or lose.
The US performance yesterday was outstanding - absolutely nothing to apologize for.
But... time to pay up!
