Hi there.. this might be an old question
I have one speeding ticket for doing 120 km on a 90 km in Ottawa three years ago. It was my only ticket of my 7 yrs in Canada..
1) when I filed my PR application, I ticked "no" to "have you been convicted of any crime or offense".. which is what everyone told me to.
2) Since this is not a crime, it wouldn´t show up in the RCMP police record check before my medical...
3) will the ticket show up in the background check AFTER my medical?

(in reply to: Speeding ticket, criminal and security checks) No, if speeding tickets were a criminal offence 95% of Canadian wouldn´t be able to enter the US.
