Subject: Husband questioned in US will this affect reentry?
While my husband was on vacation in New Jersey visiting his mother he went to purchase a metro card to enter the subway but it just took his money and did not give him his metro card. He was in a rush and since the machine was not working he just entered the subway without technically paying. A constable or police officer I am not sure which one, saw him do this and called him over. There was a language barrier as he does not speak English but he was able to make out a few words. She asked for his name so she could find out if he had any criminal record I am guessing or if he was illegal in the country but as he was not guilty of any of those he said she told him not to do that again and let him off with a warning. My question is will he have any trouble re entering the US the next time? Do they put warnings on your visa record or whatever it is?
Thanks!
