Subject: Got married at city hall will this be a problem? |

I got married to my husband at city hall last month, and even though I am Catholic I am not traditional when it comes to formal wedding ceremonies. I am just wondering if this will be a red flag when the IO looks at our case. I have written a letter to them explaining that I have never wanted a formal ceremony. My husband and I have been together for three years and married for 1 month. We have pictures, phone bills, calling cards, chat logs but will this be enough or will the fact that we married at city hall make them automatically deny him?
Thanks!

(in reply to: Got married at city hall will this be a problem?) no I dont think this will be a problem. They just want proof that the relationship is genuine so as long as u can prove that with pics, vacations, whatever u´r fine. Also not every couple that gets married does it religiously so they can´t deny it based on that only. A red flag would be if for example you just met and married next month, no pics, no phone bills, no common friends....good luck
