Subject: CONFUSED with CRA.
Hi all, i want to sponsor my husband, i am canadian citizen living with my husband abroad, i live in Republic of Georgia and make around $450 a month in cash teaching english language to people, i donot pay any tax on my income in Georgia and work on my own by teaching language, i am not registered, donot have an employer, i donot have a paper showing how much i make, do i have to prove Canada Revenue Agency that i make $450 a month, 1- will they ask for prove, because i donot have any, should i just write down my income as $450/month and let Canada tax on this amount since i donot declare my Tax in Georgia and Canada has tax treaty with Georgia, which means i should be paying tax on the $450 either in Canada or the country i live in for now, i am a factual resident of canada and like to declare my Tax in Canada for the past two years, to obtain option C printout for sponsoring my husband, 2- or is it better for me to say my income $450 but not file my Tax Return and obtain no option C, any advice please as to which option is better for me.
Thanks.

tax deductions (in reply to: CONFUSED with CRA.)
hi everyone, pls help me figure out how much should an employer pay for her nanny´s tax..my employer paid 150 CAD for the whole year, this worries me because my friends have 1,500 same year...i really dont know the math of this tax.which is right?we have same salary 1600 gross, minus 380 board and lodging,i was expecting that my employer is paying 120 each montha for my tax because my net is 1100..but when my t4 came, the tax deducted is 150...pls help me what should i do.

talk to your employer: have your t4 amended.
make sure you have photocopies of cheque issued to you and the contract with your employer.
could just be error.
that happened to me too. tax was not paid, and result was, i had to pay CRA...but my t4 was amended.

do not send your t4 to CRA not changed by your employer.
