Subject: Visitor visa for spouse
  Dear Sir,
I applied to sponsor my wife. Mississauga (Canada) office has approved me as a sponsor and the application was sent to Singapore Visa office for processing. It has been almost 4 months. I do not know anything about the application status. I can not see anything from online. I am frustrated and I am a Canadian citizen. In the meantime, can I apply for a visitor visa for my wife?
Please help me. Thanks.

No, your wife has to apply for a visitor´s visa herself. The question is if she will get it or not.

She will have to prove that she has no intentions to remain in Canada and show enough ties to her home country. Have an application in for PR complicates things.

You are better off going to Singapore to visit her or to move down there with her until the application is finalized.
