Subject: Is there anbody working at CIC Manila?
  Hi Roy, Anna.

Thanks for your replies, I checked ECAS again today and as usual IN PROCESS since November 4, 2009 in Manila.

God its unbelievable. It will be six months on March 21.

We have only been asked for two things. The passport on November 28, 2009 and a signed history of her previous relationship in a letter dated January 20, 2010.

Since then nothing, did they send a letter asking for something else??? It could be lost, floating around anywhere, how can we know what the hell is going on, this is torture.

Is there any way at all to find out if they are waiting for more information or we are qued for a visa??

Regards,

mrmagoo.

I guess you have the right to inquire about it personally since your timeline is very close to its end. Bring with you any letter, or the ecas proof showing the timeline or your paper. And should there be any letter for something, include that reason with you.

Good morning Mr. Magoo According to the Immigration Canada website 80% of the family class applications are completed in 8 months. I share your frustration. Our situation parallels yours in that we have been waiting since October. And yes, sometimes they return papers to be signed that take over a month to arrive. I wish we too could contact someone in the Manila office for information, but alas all we have is frustration. Hang in there!
