Subject: Sponsoring parent and dependant sister to Canada
  Hello everyone,
I am just now loosing my verginity on this forum by posting following question:
I would like to sponsor my mother and my sister. The problem is that my sister is dependant and she is OVER 32 years of age.

Is this going to be hard to do, or even possible?
How much does family income needs to be in order to sponsor them?

Thank you very much all of you for taking time reading this and hopefully answering my questions.

You may sponsor your mother and sister (if she is really dependable on your mother). Family income char is available at CIC website, it is dependable on your family size. If you are married and have couple kids then you are looking at approx. $44789/year. If you are single then you are looking at $29944/yr. If you sister is dependent due to health, then it can create problem for her immigration. CIC would like to know everything about her, whether she will become burden on Canadian HealthCare System.

I hope, I answer your question

Cheers

another thing is that ur sister has to have full time continous education student status since reaching the age of 22 .

Sponsoring little sister to Canada (in reply to: Sponsoring parent and dependant sister to Canada)
Hi all, i have a question, i have a little sister who is 16, HAS living parents, lives outside her home country with them, and i am a Canadian but i am the only one in the family who is. Now i would like to sponsor my little sister to become Canadian *without* the parents.(our father is the same, her mother is not my mother) i would like to secure her to become a Canadian as she is currently Macedonian and i would like her to have both a Canadian education and a life in Canada afterwords. As the process takes a while, we estimate she would be around 18 by the time it goes through. The other catch is that i *don´t* live in Canada myself. Is this even possible?
