Subject: Federal Skilled Worker from New Delhi
  Hi,

Anybody who has applied under Federal Skilled Worker from New Delhi Consulate, please let me know.
I have got Medicals,RPRF and Passport request at the same time.
I am little confused; what I have read on this forum is that the Passport request would be the last step after the Visa is approved.
Can someone help me understand.
Appreciate your help on this.

Thank you,

Michael

sure sounds that way. usually they want to see the medical results first but perhaps they are wanting to speed things up a little bit.

I would be cautiously optimistic

Hi Michael,

I applied PR in CIC New Delhi. I did medicals and then submitted RPRF fees and passports of all my family on Jan 31st 2010. Received RPRF receipt copy by mail on Feb 4.

After that it is all quiet from their side. Normally it should take 30-60days to get back the passports but in my case it is over 60days.

I am worried as I have taken my kids out of the school aas I was dead sure of the PR VISA.

Can you please comment?

Thanks

Hi Michael,

If you could see the comments by Sharon, she has said that she would be ´cautiously optimistic´. I think you should not have taken the kids out of the school. As you said, the passports would normally be returned within 60 days. It´s now just sixty days and I dont think you would need to worry. You can expect your visas shortly. Keep your fingers crossed and all the best.

Thank you,

Michael
