Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there has filled out a PRRA application. I have to fill it out for my Fiance and some of the questions are very confusing.

For example question #27 give you 3 options and I dont think my finace is any of them
At the time of arrival:
1. I was lawfully admitted as a temporary resident to Canada (includes student and work permit holders)
2. I had a temporary resident permit in my possession
3. I came to canada by using false documents, fraudulent means or misrepresentation.
My finance entered canada as a visitor. Would that be considered a temporary resident?

Yes, option 1.
If you are struggling with THAT question, I don´t think you should be filling those forms. You should get professional help.
CBSA is going to eat you alive.

CBSA has nothing to do with the decision of a PRRA it goes to CIC via CBSA!
She was admitted legally whether or not she needed a CVV.
CIC only considers NEW evidence from the time your love of your life was ordered removed.
So say the four most scariest words known to man and sponsor her back as your wife with an Authorization to Return to Canada. ARC

True enough but once the PRRA officer says ney, the file is sent to CBSA to remove this individual.

how long does it take to recieve a discission once you submitt your application. I was told that it was highly unlikely that we would get a positive response but just wondering how it all works. Thanks for any comments.

I sent my PRRA application to CIC. My lawyer help me to fill out the forms and send to CIC but once they received they returned the file to me indicating that Iam not eligible as CBSA must be initiated. This seems my lawyer had the copy of the file and didnt get the it from CBSA. Could you please help me next step
