Subject: short visit with no Canada visa |
I heared as long as I has a valid US visa, I can cross the Canadian border for short visit and come back US , is this true?

It seem to me that you are trying to cross the border illeagl to canada, with the rest of US visa days but take care my pal you will be in a dip shit if you are caught bt the CIC, so I belive you are right

Nope (in reply to: short visit with no Canada visa) It is not ture anymore. It used to be the case. But, if one of your relatives go to USA and bring you back with him/her (make sure to declare it at the border) they will give you visa on spot. They can also refuse your entry and make you apply for Canadian visa from your home country. I know both kind of people, you can always ask.

(in reply to: short visit with no Canada visa) Better apply for a temporary resident visa. I have applied three 4 times while on F-1 visa, including one application during PR processing. The key is to establsih very well your links back to the US. Applications do not take more than 1 week and you have to pay us$110 or candian 150...
