you are not providing enough information. Was a sponsorship application refused? if so, why?

normally, sponsors are denied if they are collecting social assistance but your circumstances are not clear enough to know if this rule applies.

no we never did an spousal sponsorship, i came as a refugee and it was denied i submitted my prra as the same time as H&C so they made a single decision and it was positive but it says that i have to be self supporting but my husband is receiving social assistance just for him and the kids but i have no clue if that would affect my application since the main reason they accepted me was because him and the kids.

Husband is getting Social Assistance (wefare) when he is elligble for Unemployemnt Insurance????? Is the husband claiming the THREE kids and you?

EI employment insurance was taking too long to process, how long did welfare take to process?

Something in your post is ILLOGICAL.

Financial reasons

IRPA
A39. A foreign national is inadmissible for financial reasons if they are or will be unable or unwilling to support themself or any other person who is dependent on them, and have not satisfied an officer that adequate arrangements for care and support, other than those that involve social assistance, have been made.

I know it sounds illogical but it is ..he is waiting that the application is complete still in process is been three months now so we coulnt survive with 300$ a week so he applied for welfare and he is only receiving for him and the kids NOT for me.thats why im confuse.

I have never known anyone be eligible for both EI and welfare at the same time. EI is usually 2 weeks until the first cheque.

Did your husband actually say to the government - please, don´t include my wife? I find that VERY hard to believe.

If you have to be self supporting, then I guess you need to earn more than $300 a week. If you are relying on your husband for support and he is now on social assistance, you set yourself in the scenario of sponsorship criteria.

I find it very odd that they would say to you - be financially self sufficient and not look at your family income.

Hes is elegible until his EI finish processing the claim, and yes he did told his social worker about not including me because of my immigration process and besidue i wasnt elegible because i was in the last step the PRRA,so they didnt, but thank you anyways i guess he´ll just have to accept the 10p/h job from an agency until that EI is finish!!!:( thanks againg guys
