Subject: Canadian parents with baby born outside of Canada
  Here is the situation:
Father - Immigrated with his parents in 2000 and now citizen of Canada, living in Canada
Mother - PR since July 2009, living in Canada

I am going to give birth in Hong Kong next year. I notice that the law has changed. Will the baby be a Canadian citizen automatically? What are the procedures for the baby to come back to Canada (e.g. getting passport)? Anything that I need to notice when I am going through custom at the airport in Canada?

Thanks.

Child is not considered second generation born outside of Canada since his father is a naturalized Canadian and therefore will be a Canadian by birth.
