Non-U.S. Citizen Traveling to Canada with a Bench-

Subject: Non-U.S. Citizen Traveling to Canada with a Bench-
  Well, I have a specific issue here. I´ve been to the US in 2008, and I was pulled over and ended up with a DUI and driving w/o a valid driver´s license (stupid I know). I was on bail and I had a court date set, but couldn´t stay in the US for such a long period of time just to wait for my court session. From what I have read so far, I probably have a bench warrant for my arrest in the US.
The issue it, I am planning on going to Canada this summer, and I have read from few web sites that they might not let me cross the border, or even arrest me there. So I would like to know if the info is true. I do not need a visa to go to Canada, which is too bad because they would probably just deny me if the info were true.
I have a new passport with no US visa on it, and I am planning to travel directly from Europe to Canada.

Any help appreciated, thank you.

If the warrant pops up in the screen when the CBSA officer checks your passport you are done.

What you have to understand is that at this point you are inadmisible to enter Canada.

You are considered criminally inadmissible if:

•you have a trial under way;
•there is a warrant out for your arrest; or
you have charges pending against you or an officer has credible information that you committed an offence outside Canada.

You should take care of your previous offence and then start thinking about traveling to Canada. I am not sure if you realize that what you have done is a serious offence and you have to face it.

Right,
I am already aware of that. But I could hypothetically speaking, commit a crime in Bulgaria, and canadian officers at the check point probably wouldn´t have any information about it. So, "you have charges pending against you or an officer has credible information that you committed an offence outside Canada." is definitely not a specific type of info I am looking for.
I am trying to figure out wether they will be able to see if I committed that particular offense in the US, considering the close relationship between the two countries. I am not a US citizen, and I was wondering if they would have to make a background check and communicate with the US government and all of that stuff (which would take hours, days) to see that I have a warrant, or it would just pop up instantly and they would have me arrested?

My cousin has been charged for Sexual Assault in Canada and he was on Work Permit . He has left the country without Finger prints and without facing trial and ow a Bench warrant is issued for him in the same province . He left the country because some local people Threatened him on Gun point and he was scared of getting killed .. Can any one tell me that will that Bench Warrant will pop up in US Border Services too if he fly to US from his Home country ?? If it pops up will he be Deported to his home country or he will be sent to Canada for Trial ?? he don´t have any kind of Criminal Record but for saving his life he left Canada.

Seeking for help .. please do let me know if anyone can help me in this ..
