| Subject: Living in Calgary |
Condos in Calgary got me going for a couple of days. I was amazed by how cheap they are even smack down in downtown high rise buildings. Does anyone have experience with living in Calgary? Would be nice to hear some stories about Calgary. Besides cattle, Alberta may have other nice things about it!

come on, why Yankees always think Canada has nothing but cattle????? Lots of Yankees think some of Canada is like countryside. Don??t know why
In fact, Calgary is a big city after 30 years ago people found oil reserve in Alberta areas. This is the first Canadian provinces have no deficit. Because of the crude oil income, Alberta is the only province has no PST on good and service.
Calgary is a clean city, young, energetic.

Calgary is a growing city and economy. Nothing wrong with living there. If Vancouver did not have family and mountains I would be there in a heartbeat.

I have talked to at least three realestate agents in Calgary. It is quite a temptation to go there. I might cut thru east (enter Canada at Buffalo) and hang out in Alberta before moving to Vancouver. I think Vancouver is a must before anywhere in Canada is considered!
