| Subject: Leave Canada couple days after Visa expired date |
Dear There,
I have a question:
My mother has a vistor visa, the validation date of the visa is July 1st, 2010. Is any problem if she leave Canada on July 10, 2010?

The Visa expiry date is just that. When you mother entered Canada she used that Visa to get on the plane. The officer at the Port of Entry granted her admission.
If no date below his/her stamp she is a valid visitor for six months.
There are no exit requirements when mom leaves so your concern is ill placed.

Hi DocD,
She entered Canada on 2009-7-1. I found the date below the stamp is 2009-7-1.
And I applied for the extension, she got 6 months extend visa (Valid to 2010-7-1).
I was told that it is fine if my mother leaves Canada not exact on July 1st, 2010. But I am not sure for this. So, I ask your expert´s opinion here.

She has to leave Canada before July 1st , 2010.
If she leaves Canada on July 10th, she won´t be able to obtain a visa to visit you again. If she is from country where a visitor´s visa is not required to enter Canada she might be refused of entry at the border.
Don´t push it, her visitor´s record says very clear at the bottom, "you must leave Canada by July 1st, 2010 This document does not authorize to re-enter Canada"

hi, i have a similar problem with your mom.
i´m a student n my visa had been expired since 30th NOv 2009 but my study permit still valid till September this year.
can i leave Canada before september? (i will leave canada for good) will i get trouble in exiting Canada?

My parent came on Jul 6 2010, On passport they have visa stamp with Jun 7 2010 - Exipry Date: Nov 13th 2010
When will they have to leave canada Before Nov 13th 2010 or Jan 6th 2011?

Hi I have a question my Study permit and my visa has the same expiry date and both expired a month ago now, I couldn´t leave the Canada because I have finals and my finals will finish on august 20 and I will leave the county. My question is, Can I renew my visa and study permit in Canada? or do I have to go back to my country and renew the visa and the study permit?? I couldn´t renew it earlier because I had to wait some documents. Thank you for your comments.
