Subject: Provincial Nominee Program / Federal PR Applic
  Hi

I am applying through the Manitoba PNP. As part of the PNP you have to enclose a valid Federal application. Problem is the criteria differ. For the PNP program I only have to have a valid job, which I have. The only Federal stream I qualify for is the Experience class, which now requires 2 years work experience in Canada. I have been working for 13 months now and have a valid contract for another two years. I suspect by the time my federal application is processed I will have worked for 2 years, but my concern is that the PNP will not see my federal application as valid.

I´m busy applying for an extension for my work permit, which expires June 30, 2010, if that´s relevant.

Does a PR application provide any kind of "implied status" like an application for an extension of temprorary residence does?

your work experience has to be complete at the day of application.

no implied status.
