Subject: Need Infomation
  Hi All,

Please guide me , my husband lost interest to go to Canada and he is Primary Applicant Please tell me few things. He is ready to come with me for 1 day.

1. Can I apply for SIN Card and other Health card without him ? or he is required to come with me?

2. For PR card we have to apply at Air Port? Then in return what they will give to us? Some temporary number or card ?
Best Regards

you both have to land. He can come first as primary applicant but you cannot come without him being here.

2.yes, but you will need to provide a Canadian address
3. you cannot simply arrive at the airport, complete your landing and get on a plane 6 hours later

why would you want to do this?

- You have to land with him or after he lands. Once you are admitted in Canada as a PR you can apply for your SIN card as well as your health care card by your self.

2. For PR card we have to apply at Air Port? Then in return what they will give to us? Some temporary number or card ?

- It is automatic. Upon arrival you will need to provide a Canadian address where CIC can mail you your PR card. If you don´t have an address the CBSA officer will give you a sheet that you have to fill with your mailing address and then fax it to CIC. There is no such a thing as a temporary card number. You either wait in Canada around 6 weeks until you get your PR card or when you are home you will have to contact the Canadian Embassy and get a Temporary travel document to return to Canada.
