Subject: Can a consulate receive your green card?
  Hello everyone
A friend of mine entered Canada through Quebec, and she was given the option of choosing her country´s consulate to receive her green card for her. She did that because she was not going to stay long enough on her first visit.

I am planning to do the same, stay for a month only, and was wondering if this is a valid alternative for me, considering that I will enter through Calgary.

Thanks ahead for all suggestions!

I meant PR card (in reply to: Can a consulate receive your green card?)
This is about the id card that is sent to you by email to the adress you give them at your first arrival, once you have been approved as PR.

Does Anybody know?

It is called Permanent Resident card or Maple Leave card. Green card is American.

Anyway, the answer is no. The CBSA officer will give her a form upon arrival that she will have to fill out as soon as she has an address in Canada, then she will have to fax it to CIC.
