Subject: Medical exam for Canada PR
  Hi,
My husband (primary applicant) and myself (dependent applicant) have recieved request for submitting the medical reports for Canada PR. I am pregnant into my third trimester and cannot take the chest X-ray.

Shall we just send all the other reports except my chest x-ray and attach a letter from my ob-gyn stating my inability to take x-ray at this time? If we do this, what further procedure is followed by Candadian embassy? would they send us a request again later for my chest x-ray? I am wondering if these medical reports have an expiry and if the embassy sends us request for repeating the entire medical examination again? Anybody aware of the process?

OR

Shall we just write a letter to the Canadian embassy requesting extension in the deadline to submit medicals due to my preganncy? Would that mean if we send our medicals after our child is born, we will also have to add our child to the application and send medicals for the baby also? We might not want to add the child to the application however as it is going to be an American cititzen anyway.

Any body who has experienced the same condition and if they could share their experience of what they did and how the Canadian Consulate responded, it would be very helpful and much appreciated !
Thanks!
