if you guys don´t wanna take IETLS, you can take CELPIP.
As far as I know, people who live in Lower Mainland or close, like me, you can go to register it in UBC (University of British Columbia).

Exam is damn easy, but I don´t know why, my written parts were boom, i could get all top scores except writing, (maybe I write some slang in essay, like spoiling at night, kiss my ass) therefore I decide I didn´t submit the scores.

Evidence I submit\

1, cover letter, indicated which level is my English proficiency
2. Self explain letter, indicated how and when did I have my English education. I wrote I watch ??sesame street, Thomas, late show with Dave Letterman?? back in Hong Kong.
3. Transcripts from Malaspina University-College and University of Regina, both are public post-secondary institution in Canada
4. Working contract in Canada
5. Several employers?? reference letters.
6. Appreciate certificate in my union, first aid, CPR, food safety certificate
7. Photos, took when I had CBC radio two program. Shaking hand with B.C transportation Minister with his business card.
8. Reference letter from my dean, chamber of commerce in Nanaimo
9. Degree certificate

I am not sure if CIC gonna be crazy and said no to me!!!

What happened then? did they approve your application or what?
I´m thinking of taking the exam but there are no vacancies for the IETLS exam, so i might as well try CELPIP.

I was thinking of submitting evidence, but I was worried of being at the mercy of a moody officer who might give me less marks than the ones I deserve!

submitting evidence will be at one´s own risk.now they insist on the applicant taking the IELTS or CELPIP.l will be trying the celpip in a few weeks and was wondering on the reading and writing section.could someone please tell me whether one is required to write an address at the top of the letter or it should just start from the salutation as in the study guide for celpip?

I believe IELTS is the only test that is recognized. rules have changed in the last 6-10 months. double check.

As of 2011, the only english test that is acceptable is IELTS and it is mandatory. Don´t even ask about an alternative.

Currently, the CELPIP-General Test is one of two English language tests designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada for those applying under the Skilled Workers Class.
