| Subject: permit to get my daughter out of the country |
i live in Canada and i sponsored my wife (23) and my daughter (20 months)they live in Colombia and they are allowed to come here but i don´t know if i need a permit for my wife to get my daughter out of the country even if i´m sponsoring them?

Hi Nestor,
I think your best source for an answer to your question might be your local Colombian embassy.
I know that in Colombia´s neighbouring country, Venezuela, they will not allow a parent to take the child out of the country without the other´s written consent... I am assuming you have a similar law in Colombia as well...
