Subject: "Driving with a suspended license" conviction
I live in TX. I am a US resident, with green card, with Mexican citizenship.
I was convicted in 2004 for driving with a suspended license. it is consider a misdemeanor type B.
I am traveling to Canada for business. Can this prevent me from entering Canada??

Yes it can.

If it shows in your background check when clearing customs, you may be refused of entry.

There are some steps that you should take before traveling to Canada.
