Hi i am very confused with my situation...
I got my PR when i first landed in canada in july 2005 and stayed for 2 months in canada only...
then had to go back to my home country to finish school.. now in my 2nd year of university at my home country...
This summer june 2010 want to go back to canada to renew my PR atleast then will stay for long after 2 yrs of my university are finished.
what will happen of the two years out of five i had to stay in canada? i can get my PR renewed right?
Im really worried and don´t want to loose my Canadain residency.

Sorry to say but you should have thought a long before facing this situation, if you really wanted to have this residence you should have come earlier, now your chances are very slim. still you are in second year of university is it possible for you to leave the study in home country and start in Canada? Why didnt you do it in first place in 2005?

In 2005 i had to stay in my home country with parents because they had to take care of my grandparents due to their health.
But can´t the 2years be exempted by the factor:
•The physical absence from Canada is caused by a clearly temporary situation such as study abroad for a limited period of time.

I noted that my renewal resident card was approved nov.8 and should be sent by mail.
today is dec.9 .when should I expect my renewal pr card.
