Subject: please help with this question I dont understand
guys: this is taken from the Canada immigration website. I am confused as they say to include both sponsorship application and PR application for my spouse all at once. This means including medical exam proof which is then only valid for 12 months. On the other hand this is what the website says: "Instructions on how to take the medical examination will normally be sent to you after you submit your application to the visa office." So can I send these later on as to avoid having them expire before I get an answer?

thank you

I think you are getting confused between family class and spousal applications.

The medical for family class is completed later.

The medical for a spousal application MUST be included as part of the original application.

I would recommend you read the following page more carefully. Especially the region specific guide:

ok got it. Thanks a lot. I read everything and thought I understood that absolutely all forms for spouse must be included at once. Then I kept reading more and getting confused as you mentioned with family application. Then I read some more on this website and noticed people talking about submitting this or that later on. So basically I stick to the forms and submit everything at once.
