My brother once lived in Canada as a refugee claiment and his application was refused by refugee board. He then lived in California as a Refugee claiment. He married a woman from Canada, where the bride was found from a family source. His Immigration interview was appointed to a visa office abroad and he had to leave USA to appear in the interview but application for Canada immigration was refused on the ground called "Marriage of convenience".
His wife appealed immigration decision but withdrew it due to a break in their relation. Now the woman applied for divorce and my brother want to come to Canada to contest this Diovorce.
Can he come to Canada to appear in the court or does he have to fight this divorce from back home by appointing a lawyer in Canada?

He has to appoint a lawyer but Canada is not like the US and other countries you really cant contest them there is no real divorce court you can dispute over children or belongings but if she wants a divorce she will get it the Canadian law will not make a couple stay together if one does not want to so,if they have no belongings together or they have no children then there is no sense contesting as she will get it no mater what.
