Subject: Spouse application
  Hi All

My wife is applying for a perm visa and has added my name and indicated that I will be accompanying her. Both of us are on H1B visas and working in US. Since my H1B expires soon, it makes more sense for her to apply rather than I applying. I wanted to check if we get the perm visa, is it possible that first I move to Canada and then on a later date she will move even though she is the primary applicant ? Will the perm visa be for both of us separately ?

Request you to pls guide and Thanks for all the help

United you will stand
divided you will fall apart

Accompanying and dependents must stick to the host.

Time to Sponsor my American Wife (in reply to: Spouse application)
My wife has been living "in sin" with me for about 5 years and it is about time I legally sponsored her. At first I was having personal financial difficulties but she has helped me start my own landscaping business and now I can even afford the money for the fees :-)

I have not filed back taxes for several years. What back taxes will I need to file in order to sponsor her? My business is still small and I do not make a lot of income, but I have not had any problem providing her needs and she is happy and we own our own home, but I am behind on a couple of credit cards. Does debt prevent one from sponsoring their live-in wife?
