i got CIC recomendation, and now i have to show settelment fund in form bank statement, i am salaried person, i am getting 2000 us dollar per month salary which is coming to my account, but recently i bought a home, i have to show 15000 dollar statement, while currently i have just 4000 dollar, what should i do? is it will work if i burrow money from friends and family for 10-15 days?

Hi Qaiser,
You can show your assets in terms of bonds, stocks etc.. as far as I know. And you can always borrow money from your friends to show but for that you need a bank statement and you have to keep money in your account until you get your bank statement.

showing assets is correct. borrowing money from friends is not. CIC can ask for verification of that bank balance multiple times. You are suggesting was is commonly referred to as ´show money´. It is fraudulent.
The funds must be unencumbered - that means they are not borrowed.
