| Subject: Visitor Visa extension- urgent HELP! |

Hi everyone,
I am scouring the internet for an answer, but can´t find any
I hope Sharon, Roy and anyone with a similar experience can help me.
My uncle´s Visitor Visa has expired, we applied for extension, but haven´t received any word from the immigration until now.
Now my uncle needs to go back home next week, my question is is his Visitor Visa still valid?
Will this be a problem at the immigration?
I am just afraid that he will be asked about this at the airport.
I hope someone can help.

Well if he is going home they do not ask about his visa,only coming in.
Did his visa get renewed or refused?
And if you still have no answer from immigration he has status as his status in now implied until he gats his refusal or extension

Hi Vert,
Your uncle shouldnt be facing problem at the airport while going back home. If they ask question you can always give a fees receipt for him which you or he has paid for extension of visa as a proof. As Steve has mentioned your uncle can stay until he hears back about extension or rejection.
