Subject: LICO in BC PNP
My husband´s employer applied for Pnp and as reviewed..he we fall under Low Income Cut off beause we have 3 kids.Right now,he is still in BC and havent heard if the Pnp application will push thru. Do we have to wait for couple more years or months?

I am qualified to apply here in my country as a Federal Skilled worker. I am hesitant to do it because Im not sure if its okay to apply both Pnp and federal at the same time?Is it also a conflict if I am not presently employed? But I worked as a registered nurse in a facility before, then now a full time mom. Will it affect the assesment if Im involved in a marketing position (sales)as of now?

I have taken the Ielts before and the result was good...but its not valid now...will I take it again? Thanks for the reply!

I have the same case as your husband, I applied for BC PNP but I was denied because of LICO. I received a letter from BC PNP that I was denied. It is stated there that for a member of 5 (your husband, you and your 3 kids),your husband needs to have an annual income of 42,054 for Metropolitan Vancouver Area.

It would be best for him to call his consul or the CIC, so that he will know exactly his application status.

And also, in case your husband is denied, I suggest that he re-appeal to his application because you are a nurse and you can be a great help to Canada´s economy.

If you have taken IELTS before and it is not valid now, then you have to take it again.

You´ve also mentioned that you are not currently employed as a nurse, that you are a full time mom and currently involved in sales...of course it will affect the assestment because it´s a plus if you are currently practicing your profession and sales job is not much of a job scarce here in Canada.

Regarding if you could apply for BC PNP Application and Federal Skilled Worker at the same time...the advice that I got is to choose to apply for either BC PNP and Federal Skilled Worker because it will jeopardize your application if you would apply for both and might end up denied for both.

Hope this would help.
