Hi,
My husband is a Software professional who is holding a workpermit valid until Sept 2010.
I was a software professional having 4 years experience in core programming languages and is currently on visitor visa to join my husband in Canada.
I strongly desire to work and would like to apply for work permit in Canada .
My visitor visa is valid until Sept 2010 and am currently residing in Canada
I would be really grateful if you can answer me the below queries
1) Should I apply for workpermit only after gettting my husband´s extended work permit copy ?
2) Generally how long would it take to process a work permit for spouse ?
3) Should I ask for \"OPEN WORK PERMIT\" while applying ??
Any help would be much appreciated
