Subject: Any further documents needed?
We (my wife and I) will be departing Canada after a month of our landing date. In this case, except Immigrant Visas, Passports and COPRs, do we need to take any other documents such as, Marriage certificates, Birth certificates or??

Thanks

Are you going to Canada or you will be leaving Canada after landing. Please clarify your question. Try to break your question in small sentences.

Sorry for confusion. I am on my way to land in Canada in two weeks from now. I´ll stay in Canada for one month and then I will leave her.

Ohh you wanna leave here in Canada....

Ohh Just kidding... As per the rule if you both have applied togather for immigration you have to land in Canada togather. Make sure you bring all documents. Its always a good habit. While you are here it will be ebtter if you have to show it anywhere.. right...

Its better to keep all the important documents with you...

Cheers,
HS

No need dude.

As soon as you land Canada; apply for the PR card, Drivers Licence, Medical Card etc. You should get at least the PR Card in 3 weeks.

You passport and PR Card are all you need to return to Canada.

Any further documents needed? (in reply to: Any further documents needed?)
Thanks for your replies. I was just wondering if there is any document, I have missed. I´ll be taking with me, our passports, visas,COPRs,birth and marriage certificates. Is there anything other documents we may need during our one-month stay in Canada?

Thanks

Make sure to work on all documents as soon as you land Canada. I mean definately apply for PR card, Licence, Bank Account and Medical Card and SIN (If they let you apply that early on these).

You look like you are set. Have fun in Canada. Must be cold now. How long did it take ya to get through the whole process? What part of Canada are you landing in? In Toronto there is a guest house for $600 a month! Just in case you need a roof over your head.

Hi americanrefuse,
the whole process took something about 4 years, since we had to move from Israel (where we had an appointed interview) to another location and that caused such a long delay. We will be landing in Vancouver. I have already found a place to stay there for a month. Thank you for your help.
