i am planning to land in Toronto with my family my permanent address is in saskatoon.I have two question
1) can i apply for social security from toronto or it has to be from saskatoon!
2) my daughters have to join McGill in Montreal immediately so can i apply for social security on their behalf being the primary applicant or do they need to be present at the time of application in toronto/saskatoon!

I think, you are talking about the SIN card which is SOCIAL INSURANCE NUMBER card. You have to apply for working in Canada.

You can apply for your SIN card at any office around canada. Find the closer Service Canada Office. Also, you can apply by mail.
