My wife and I had sumbmitted what we thought was a perfect application.Letters of support from friends and family members and lots of wedding,honeymoon photos.We have both been married before and we supplied all the necessary documents to prove our divorce.We learned recently we have to have an interview which can take up to 2 years?
I cannot believe this process taking so long.Then I discover that CIC only hold interviews in Saigon twice a year?If the Canadian High Commission Office is in Singapore,my question is can my wife fly to Singapore and be interviewed there to speed up the interview process?Or is this entire interviewing process designed to discourage newly married couples?
My wife is currently living in Saigon and I´m living in Canada and I´m a Canadian citizen.
I would appreciate anyones help or comments regarding my questions.
