Subject: Time spent in Canada and citizenship |

Hi
I have a question of the number days needed to fullfill the requirements for CDN citizenship.
We landed in August 2009, stayed 2 weeks. We will return early 2011.
We were both full-time students in Canada between August 2002 and April 2004 (do they count this or not)? I am not sure about the rules. I heard you need to stay at least 2/5 years....any feedback would be highly appreciated and thanks.

To retain PR status, you must have lived in Canada for 2 of the last 5 years.
To qualify for citizenship, you must have lived in Canada for 3 of the last 4 years. You may be able to count time you spent in Canada before you became a permanent resident if that time falls within the four-year period.
